The Knowles family looks about as secure, middle-American, comfortable, and happy as can be. That is, until November 8 comes around. A refugee couple from Iraq comes to stay with them unexpectedly and teaches them a new meaning of faith, Christmas, and giving.
Lee and Roberta, the parents of teenagers Becca, Ryan, and Sarah, find out they will be hosting a refugee couple from a Middle-Eastern country. And Lee, a high school principal, is about to be brought into a lawsuit by a parent who objects to the Christmas festivities of Lee's school.
The Knowles will maneuver a Christmas they didn't see coming when they encounter "The Christmas Visitors."
